Let Me Keep You Warm

This is my entry for "2012 XMAS CONTEST ART" by . Contest link: fav.me/d5p800i It didn't win but I'm glad I did it since I really wanted to draw this couple for a long time.

It's another Harvest Moon fan art of my most favorite couple in the whole HM universe: Claire and Dr. Trent from More Friends of Mineral Town or DS Cute (whichever you prefer, I love both!).

Winter is my favorite season so the concept has to be romantic. Claire and Dr. Trent is out on a date. Obviously, they aren't dressed for winter so Claire is already feeling cold. Dr. Trent notices this and he quickly puts his white coat on her, which completely surprised her at the same time, made them both happy and warm inside. (I think this is something Trent would do if it was a heart event...)

I barely finished this as I was supposed to put falling snow but this week is crazy busy due to the holidays. I really, REALLY wanted to color this with my new Copic pens since this artwork is special to me but I'm missing some important colors for the drawing so I'm back to my old pencil crayons.
